In 2008, I made a trip to Tanzania. While I was there, I met a Great Man of God, who devoted his life to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone he met. He was in need of a building and I promised to do what I could to help. Knitting for Tanzania is my attempt to help him build a church building. All profits from sales of my knits go directly to help with his building project.

A picture I received
This week of my dear friend Pastor Mwenebolongo's son Memba on the back row left. Beside him is his wife Eliza and in front, in the blue striped blouse their daughter Jeanine. Memba will be ordained into the ministry soon. He is currently leading a Swahili Church here in the U.S. One time he told me his most prized possession is the Bible his dear father gave him as he left Africa for the U.S. Some day, I will meet this family:)
